Lew Rockwell’s Army

Sep 27, 04 | 3:03 am by John T. Kennedy

[To the tune of Oliver’s Army by Elvis Costello]

Don’t start Lew talking;
he could talk all night.
His mind goes sleepwalking
while he’s setting the borders right.
Call Lew up for information
and he’ll tell you his preoccupation:

Lew Rockwell’s Army is here to stay
Lew Rockwell’s Army are on their way
and you had better cross anywhere else but here today.

There was a Checkpoint Hoppe
he didn’t crack a smile
but it’s no laughing party
when you’ve been on the murder mile
only takes one itchy trigger
one less immigrant wetback nigger.

Lew Rockwell’s Army is here to stay
Lew Rockwell’s Army are on their way
and you had better cross anywhere else but here today.

Mexifornia needs a gate!
Wetbacks won’t assimilate!
We’ll be there in the Rio Grande
overrun by the Mexicans
with the boys from ol’ VDARE and American Ren

It’s not aggression,
our social order must cohere,
and it could be arranged
with just a word in Pat Buchanan’s ear.
If you’re out of luck or out of work
blame it on some border crossing jerk.

Lew Rockwell’s Army is here to stay
Lew Rockwell’s Army are on their way
and you had better cross anywhere else but here today.

If you have any good links to be added to this song pass them along.

  3. Goldstein Says:

There’s just something so amazingly comical about that photo….

  4. Stefan Says:

I agree with Goldstein–it’s hilarious, but in a grim kinda way.

  5. John T. Kennedy Says:

I think that’s Epstein and DeCoster on the left, Rockwell and Hoppe grabbing Sabotta, with Kinsella’s head sticking up in the back.

  6. Goldstein Says:

“I agree with Goldstein–it’s hilarious, but in a grim kinda way.”

‘looks like a vidcap of a low-budget sequel to “Deliverance”; JTK is filling-in for Tom Servo.

  7. Geekery Today Says:

    News you can’t use
Time to check in on the latest the anti-state, anti-war, pro-market news and views from Paleo Bizarro World. Today… … Bob Wallace reports that European…

  8. Pat Mason Says:

I don’t care for the anti-Southern insult. I’ve lived and traveled in and through the South my entire life and I’ve NEVER witnessed nor heard of a scene such as the one depicted above. That is a Hollywood incarnation and a FALSE one at that. Since Goldstein thinks the photo is so comical how about we replace the Confederate flags with Star of David flags and change the innocent abductee from White to Palestinian? Not only would that scene be much closer to the truth but teach comrade Goldstein a lesson in laissez faire commentary.

  9. John Sabotta Says:

Fuck off, Patty. That photo is a still from the authentic documentary film TWO THOUSAND MANIACS! (1964, dir. H.G. Lewis.) So you see, you suck.

Go drown your miseries in Karen De Coster, or something.

    Pat,

Sounds funny to me, go for it. On your own blog.

It’s not an anti-Southern insult, you idiot. It’s an anti-Rockwell insult. Read the sarcastic caption below the photo.

  12. John T. Kennedy Says:

    Pat,

Who said the guy they caught was innocent anyway? Aren’t you insulting southerners with that inference?

  13. John Lopez Says:

I’m not sure how Pat Mason even associates that scene with the South. I know I’ve seen lots of pictures of stars-n-bars waving yokels in regions outside the South.

It’s actually pretty insulting to Southerners to automatically assume that an apparent gang assualt by people waving Confederate battle flags is being perpetrated by Southerners. What are they supposed to be, all closet Klansmen?

  14. Joshua Holmes Says:

I’m not sure how Pat Mason even associates that scene with the South. I know I’ve seen lots of pictures of stars-n-bars waving yokels in regions outside the South.

I’m from South Jersey, and I see moron yokels waving the Confederate Naval Jack (the “Southern Cross”) all over. Most of these same people would probably decry me as a traitor to God and country, but they wave about the flag of rebellious American states. Bizarre.

Also, there is no Stars and Bars in the above picture, and I doubt you’ve seen many people flying it. The Southern Cross is the flag you’re thinking of. The Stars and Bars is something else.
